As one of Rajasthan’s hill forts, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its architecture is a stunning example of Rajput style, and it is prominently located with a view of the picturesque Maota Lake. At the end of the 16th century, Raja Man Singh I began building the fort. The stunning Amber fort, also known as Amber fort, is perched atop a rocky hill with a view of the busy city of Jaipur. It is constructed from a tasteful combination of pink and pale yellow sandstone.
