It is situated in Haryana’s Gurugram. There are native trees, bushes, and bird species among its semi-arid vegetation. Through the efforts of residents, ecologists, scientists, and the Gurugram Municipal Corporation, the 40-year-old mining site has been transformed into a city forest. It encourages the preservation of biodiversity outside of protected areas. It belongs to the categories of Northern Tropical Thorn Forest and Northern Tropical Dry Deciduous Forest.
