It is the apex body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India set up in 1955 to promote the export of engineering goods, projects and services from India.

2.Provide policy inputs to the government on behalf of the engineering sector
3.Help MSMEs and large companies explore global markets
4.Publish regular market intelligence, trade data and exports trends
5.Facilitate technology upgradation and competitiveness enhancement

Engineering exports account for nearly 25% of India’s total merchandise exports. EEPC India plays a vital role in achieving India’s goal of becoming $1 trillion export economy. Supports Make in India, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and PLI schemes by facilitating global outreach for Indian manufacturers.
